Here is my blog/journal/rant. Whatever you want to call it.
The title of this may not be very intreguing but it is to me.
I have just graduated from The Auckland Regional Pain Services (TARPS) 3 week Pain Management Programme (PMP). For the first time in 2.5 years there is a name to the chronic pain that I have been living with. That name is Central Neural Sensitisation Disorder. And yes, it is as bad as it sounds. Finally though it has a name. As weird as it is, that makes it slightly easier to live with and explain to others.
Basically what it does mean is that the nerves in my body have become hypersensitive as a result of three injuries in a rather rapid succession. Its not something I would wish upon people, more wish that they have at least a very basic understanding of it.
